Crew member Training Program

Tropical Smoothie Café LLC approached Rich Printing for assistance in developing their Crew Member Training Program kit.  Rich was asked to print and source the material, and the kit was to contain a variety of printed and non-printed material including:

  • A screen-printed poly bag
  • DVD with casing
  • Saddle-Stitched module booklets
  • “Gutter laminated” process modules guides
  • Tracking Poster

For easy access, the client wanted the printed materials stored on a wall inside the café for easy access.  Rich Printing was charged with finding a storage solution. It needed to be sturdy, flexible, and compact enough to not take up too much space on their café walls.  After looking at several different options, Rich found a 12-pocket vinyl document holder that is typically used in a classroom setting.  However, in this case it was exactly what TSC was looking for to place in their store environment.

Once Rich Printing received the artwork for the remainder of the components, the kits were ready to be distributed in about 12 working days.

E-Commerce Solution for Eyeglass World Retail Stores

Eyeglass World is an optical retail chain offering eyeglasses, sunglasses and contact lenses.  The marketing team at Eyeglass World approached Rich Printing to develop a web-to-print fulfillment solution offering stock items (such as pens, business card magnets, and lens cloths) as well as customizable marketing collateral including flyers and door hangers.   Eyeglass World has over 40 unique products available through the fulfillment program.   However, many items are market/store specific so each of their 60+ stores order from a different portfolio of products.  Rich Printing needed to ensure that only the items specific to each store were visible and available for ordering.

Additionally, items that display a store’s address and phone number were configured so that they appear automatically upon selecting an item.  No typing or form filling is necessary, thus reducing the possibility of typos and thereby speeding up the ordering process.

User and product information are stored in the database of Rich Printing’s MIS, which is integrated with the web-to-print software.  Therefore additions, edits, and deletions of users and products are updated simultaneously between platforms.

Though the bulk of items supplied for Eyeglass World are printed in house, Rich Printing utilizes an international supply network to source their promotional/giveaway items such as lens cloths, pens, and magnets.

Monthly Hotline Newsletter

The Junior League of Atlanta, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

The Junior League of Atlanta is the third largest League within the Association of Junior Leagues International, with a membership of nearly 4,000.

Rich Printing produces JLA’s monthly newsletter called Hotline that goes out via U.S. mail to all active, provisional, and sustaining members.   Hotline is a key method of communicating the League’s mission and current events.  It also spotlights individual members and their work with the surrounding community.  Before the end of each month Rich Printing typically receives the file of the upcoming issue along with an updated mail list with the goal of printing, binding, processing, and mailing the issue to arrive in member mail boxes around the first of the following month.  Each issue ranges between 8-12 pages in length.
